    Videos should be 800MB or less to be successfully uploaded.

  1. Open the Powerpoint presentation that will be recorded. 

  2. Click on “Record Slide Show” under the “Slide Show” tab in Powerpoint.

    1. You can choose to Start recording from the beginning of the slideshow or from the current slide. 

  3. There will be a popup window that appears. You can choose what options to have recorded. We recommend that you have both the options “Slide and animation timings” and “Narrations and laser pointer” checked. 

  4. Once you have selected your options, click “Start Recording”. This will start your recording. 

  5. Record your presentation, navigating through the slideshow as if you were presenting it live. 

  6. When complete, click “Save As” in the file drop down. 

  7. Choose the location you want to save the file to. 

  8. In the “Save As” window, select MPEG-4 Video (.mp4). 

    1. If this option is not selected, the file will not be a video and cannot be used for the event.
